  • A bank account for proceeds of sales
  • A chargeable credit card
  • A phone number

So this does require some business setup and paperwork, and you can’t just start selling on Amazon as a business if there is no business.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t sell as a sole proprietor and have an individual selling account rather than a professional one.

But for the purposes of this article, we’re concentrating on professional Amazon seller accounts. You will need a professional Amazon seller account if you sell more than 35 items per month.
